ARC Studio Architects and Interior Designers was selected to spearhead the full interior renovation of the Perishable Products Export Control Board Headquarters – an opportunity to redefine what a healthy, future forward workplace can be. The vision centred on nurturing employee wellbeing in a post-Covid environment, where reconnecting people with both nature and one another has become essential.
A strong biophilic design approach anchors the project, seamlessly weaving natural elements into the daily work experience. Abundant natural light, greenery, organic textures, and nature-inspired materials are thoughtfully integrated to reduce stress, boost productivity, and create an uplifting sensory atmosphere. These elements work in harmony with carefully selected finishes that optimise acoustic, thermal, and visual comfort.
The revamped headquarters now features a balanced blend of formal offices, open-plan workstations, and relaxed informal spaces – each crafted to support collaboration, focus, and mental restoration. The result is a warm, contemporary, and human-centred environment that not only enhances performance but also inspires a profound sense of wellbeing.
This new interior reflects a modern, holistic vision for workplace design – one that values people, embraces nature, and positions the organisation at the forefront of healthy workspace innovation.
